 What
inspired you to go to the EDUCO™ 2 Week Program?
My husband and I started studying principles of
effortless living about a year ago (May 2004). Since that time, we
have taken many steps towards living effortlessly. We attended
several seminars, listened to dozens of teleconferences, and read
many books on the topics of creating the perfect life, manifesting,
and “living in the now.” These steps taught us how to create goals
for ourselves, goals that at the time seemed very big. As we
started working towards those goals, obstacles kept popping up that
we didn’t know how to deal with. We could see the goals in our
minds, but they always felt like they were so far away. You know
what I mean, they became one of those, “someday I will….” kind of
things.
We started to get very frustrated. We knew in our
hearts that we were capable of creating our perfect life, but we
couldn’t quite figure out how to get there. After a year of trying
to change, we were still stressed out by our jobs, living paycheck
to paycheck, and allowing our egos to guide us instead of our
spirits.
We found out about the EDUCO™ seminars while
listening to a teleconference given by Michelle & John Humphrey and
Dave O’Connor in late February. They mentioned that the next
seminar would be held in the Bahamas in March. As I listened to the
call, this incredible feeling that I HAD to go to THIS seminar came
over me. I knew that it was going to change our lives forever. I
didn’t know how I was going to get there (the money, the time off
from work, etc), but I knew that I HAD to make it work. I WAS GOING
TO MAKE IT WORK!
What
obstacles did you have to overcome to get there and howdid you
overcome those obstacles?
Obstacles?
Wow, did I run into obstacles! The biggest one was finding a way to
get the money to pay for the seminar. As I mentioned earlier, my
husband and I were living paycheck to paycheck. We had absolutely
$0 savings and even less in available credit, we had recently been
turned down for several loans. But I didn’t let that stop me from
trying to get to the next seminar, which was less than 4 weeks
away. I knew I had to get there. I knew I had to find the money.
So I went to work researching all types of funding. I didn’t know
how I would get it, or where it would come from, but I knew I was
going to get it.
The second major
obstacle was getting the time I needed off from work. I am a public
school teacher. Teachers cannot take 2 weeks off of school during
the school year. It just doesn’t happen! We get 2 personal days
for each school year, and I had just used mine in February. I was
worried that my principal would not even consider giving me the time
off, and worse yet, that she would be angry that I even asked for
it. I decided to wait until I had secured the money before making
any waves at work. I still wasn’t sure how that was going to turn
out, so I figured waiting was “the smart thing to do.”
About 2 weeks
before the seminar was scheduled to begin, I thought I had “found”
the money. I went to work the next day to ask for the time off and
amazingly, my principal was very supportive. As I explained a
little bit about the seminar to her, she said, “Brandi, you have to
go… you just have to go.” I was completely blown away! I then had
to meet with the district superintendent to request the time off,
without pay. She agreed that it was an amazing opportunity for me
and granted me permission to take the time off. I was so excited!
I couldn’t wait to get home and tell my husband.
When I got home
that night, I found out the funding that I thought I had found
wasn’t going to materialize. Now that I had jumped through so many
hoops at work to get the time off, it felt like I wasn’t going to be
able to go anyway. I got very upset. But I didn’t give up. My
husband wouldn’t let me give up either. He encouraged me to keep
trying.
I got on the
phone and started calling every lender I could for several days. I
explained to each of them that I needed to go on this seminar; I
told them that it was absolutely going to change my life. They all
commented on the conviction in my voice and started working together
to get me the funding. But it wasn’t easy. I was turned down again
and again. In the end, I found 3 lenders that were able to get the
paperwork pushed through and everything started coming together. It
was so strange; I went from not being able to get approved to being
able to choose the best option for me. It really did come down to
the wire though. I finally got the funding I needed the day before
I was scheduled to leave. Talk about a 4-week emotional roller
coaster!
What was the greatest benefit you received from the
seminar?
This seminar truly helped me to remember who I am and
what my purpose in life is. While there, I learned how to reconnect
with my own life energy, my spirit. For the first time in as long
as I can remember, I was able to clear my mind of all the endless
chatter, and I am able to keep my mind clear now that I am back
home. It is so wonderful to be able to stay focused on where I am,
to live in the present moment, and truly respond to life instead of
reacting to it.
The seminar also helped me to understand just how
many of my thoughts were coming from programs based in fear, lack
and limitation. Now that I can recognize these programs, I can
choose not to operate from them anymore. Instead, I have installed
programs for success, optimum health, and loving relationships. I
know I can create programs for anything else that I want as well. I
have set much greater goals for myself, and this time, I know that I
am going to achieve them. I have learned a “success system that
cannot fail” while on the seminar, and I am already seeing the
results!
Did the seminar meet your expectations?
I really did not know what to expect. From the
minute I heard about the seminar, I knew I had to go and that it was
going to change my life, but I didn’t really know why or how. I had
heard the stories of people who had been on the seminar before me.
They seemed to have amazing successes happening in every area of
their lives. I was hoping that I would learn how to create the same
type of success in my own life.
I have to admit though, I was a little taken back
when I heard the cost of the seminar. I mean, it is a lot of money
to spend on 2 weeks… it was more than half of my yearly teacher
salary! Something deep inside of my told me not to worry about
that, somehow I knew that it would be well worth it. Believe me… it
definitely was! By the end of the second day of the seminar, I felt
as if I had already gotten much more than I had paid for. The
information was presented in such a clear and concise way, it all
made perfect sense. I now know that what I learned in the seminar
is going to lead me to unlimited success, and the cost of the
seminar feels like just a drop in the bucket.
Share any specific magical situations that have resulted since your
return?
Wow! There are so
many magical situations that have resulted since my return; I don’t
really know where to start.
One of the really
magical situations has to do with my ability to relax. While on the
seminar, I realized that during guided relaxations, I could easily
get energy to flow from my solar plexus into my arms and legs but I
had a very difficult time getting the energy to flow into my head.
It was like the energy was being blocked at the base of my throat
and sent back down into my body. I asked Tony about this. I asked
him if this could have anything to do with the fact that I had my
thyroid removed several years ago due to having thyroid cancer. He
explained that during relaxation, energy travels up through the body
through the chakras and that it made perfect sense that I was having
difficulty getting the energy into my head since the thyroid is
usually the channel for energy to get into the head. He explained
that it would take a “quantum leap” in my energy level for me to get
the energy to jump over that area. That quantum leap happened on
the 4th day of the seminar, and I have been able to
maintain that energy since returning home. Now, each time I do my
relaxation, I am able to go deeper and deeper. I am able to connect
with my spirit and maintain that energy for hours afterwards. It is
such an amazing feeling!
Being more
connected to my spirit has influenced many other areas of my life
since I have gotten home. My outlook on things has changed
completely. I am able to see details that I didn’t notice before.
I am no longer walking around stuck in a thought trance, distracted
from life. I appreciate life more and certainly don’t let things
bother me like I used to. I am able to see situations as they are
instead of the way my ego perceived them to be. I now can laugh
about many of the things that used to drive me crazy. I am having
more fun and worrying much less.
My husband and I
started a part time business about 2 years ago, and although we have
had moderate success with it, it hasn’t quite gotten us to where we
wanted to be yet. Since returning from the seminar, our business
has really started taking off. I realized that our business was not
producing the results we wanted before because we were still
operating it out of programs of lack and limitation. Our fear of
failure was causing us to fail. We were afraid to take risks. Now
that I have removed the programs of lack and limitation, I can see
that the possibilities are endless. I have decided to stop teaching
and focus on our business full time. We are now living in the
present and are becoming the creators of our perfect lives!
I am able to help
others create better lives for themselves as well. We learned how
to create positive programs for others while on the seminar, and I
practice giving programs each and every day. It is so rewarding to
know that not only did I improve my health, my relationships, my
business, and my finances by going by going on this seminar; I am
positively affecting the lives of so many other people all the
time.
What advice can you give to others who are
considering going to the EDUCO™ 2 Week Seminar?
Go for
it! Don’t let your feelings of fear, lack and limitation hold you
back. If you have read this far, something inside of you is telling
you that you need to do this for yourself. You will not be
disappointed. I promise you that!
There were 46 people on Seminar 46, and each and
every one of us made an incredible transformation. It was so
remarkable to see! We formed the most amazing friendships along the
way. Every person on the seminar said it was the best two weeks of
his or her lives. And our lives are getting better and better each
and every day. Wouldn’t it be great if you could experience the
same thing? What is stopping you?
Of course you will have obstacles to overcome. We
all have obstacles. You need to understand that the more you live
your life in limitation, the more you will see the obstacles that
jump up when you are trying to move forward. They are there to test
you. Are you willing to move past them and create your dream life?
I look back at the obstacles I faced in the 4 weeks
leading up to the seminar. They seemed so big at the time. Now I
look back and laugh at them. I am glad they were there. They
showed me that I am capable of getting through anything. They were
just the stepping-stones I needed to collect to create the
foundation for my perfect life!
